On Sunday, February 28, we
celebrated Purim. Many dancers came dressed in costume, as befits
the holiday, and we learned Sikuy Lehitkarev, a semi-drunk dance with a
surprising change of rhythm. There was a table of delicious
delights fit for a king, filled with a giant bowl loaded with Purim
treats, an enormous fruit plate, the most amazing hand-made chocolates
from Le Chocolatier, several offerings of Haman Taschen, and
countless other temptations. Thanks to all the wonderful people
who contributed to this bounty. What a feast!!

On Sunday, February 21st, we celebrated
National Kitty Day, in honor of one particular person who really loves
kitties - and we love her. Many people came with kitty-themed
clothes, and we were treated to the most amazing kitty cake we have
ever seen, baked especially for the occasion by Edna. Thanks for
all the people who brought wonderful fruit and sweet treats to delight
all of us kitty lovers.

On Sunday, February 14th, we celebrated Yom
Ha'Ahava (The Day of Love). I would like to thank all
those who added wonderful contributions to our buffet table -
exquisite fruit plates and mouth watering chocolates. Many of
the dancers came dressed in red or shades of pink, appropriate to
the image of love and passion and we danced for hours dances
dedicated to love.
